If you’re feeling battered and aching by the enormity of the world’s hurts, you’re not alone.
Doom scrolling is not a sustainable coping mechanism. And the balm you’re seeking isn’t likely to be found binging Netflix. For years now, injustice and emergency have wearied our compassionate hearts. And yet, we can’t keep waiting for external circumstances to change before we take courageous action. The stakes are only getting higher.
Most of us wouldn’t deny these times call for consistent spiritual audacity and moral grandeur. (Shout out to Rabbi Heschel!) But audacity and grandeur also don’t come from you ignoring your suffering. That’s a false choice.
It’s possible to heal wounds and ease worries in ways that support each of us in showing up for justice with increasing clarity and courage. Yeah, we said it!
Join April and Tracie for a live podcast recording of inspired insights and strategic reframes, followed by an intimate communal conversation.
A note from April:
The podcast is a blast to make, and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.
But the truth is, it isn’t free for us to produce. We pay for the podcast host, the recording software, the closed captioning, and the video editing.
We have resisted monetizing it so far because, to be frank, I’m no longer willing to ask permission to show up as my full self.
Since we finance it ourselves, we don’t have to tiptoe around the sensibilities and sensitivities of someone else’s money. In 78 episodes (and counting!), we’ve found it makes for a more vulnerable, braver, and, if we say so ourselves, better product.
We’re inviting attendees of this session to pay for their seat–based on what feels right for them. Please make your selection below. Once you submit payment you’ll receive an email with the zoom link for the podcast recording session.
See you soon.
And thanks!
April
